I’m making some this weekend. Kicking raisins out to touch too. Do you have granola dos and don’ts?
I love adverts. This is one of the coolest ones I’ve seen all year long for. It’s for Drench water. Via Rob at The Ad Pit.
A lovely little Gainsbourg-esque track from husband and wife duo, Dean & Britta from their album, ‘Back Numbers’. And here’s their blog.
Fact, remember that god-awful cartoon show ‘Jem’ in the 80’s? Ms. Britta was the voice of the animated Jem.
Some bootleg versions were knocking about Youtube today, but check out the fresh HD version of the new Dark Knight trailer here.
I’ve never been a Madness fan, but *this* is tragic.
A set of credits from V. Galactica has been crafted into a modern classic from a pile of 70’s turd, why not V too? I loved it as a kid and I used to hide under my nana’s kitchen table every Saturday night when it was on.
I was reading Salon’s Machinist blog this afternoon and really enjoyed watching Randy Pausch’s Last Lecture. At over an hour, it’s a long piece, but an amazing presentation from one of the most distinguished voices in Virtual Reality.
For a bit of background, Randy Pausch is a professor in Carnegie Mellon University who was diagnosed with terminal cancer and he gives this last lecture as a way of imparting some of the lessons he learned in his life. It’s a great video.
Update: Coincidentally, Pausch’s book ‘The Last Lecture’ (co-authored with WSJ’s Jeffrey Zaslow) was just published this week in the US.
By the wonderfully-named Fuck Buttons from the recent SXSW fest.
