I once went into Trinity on their Open Day and wandered around looking at the various clubs and societies. I went up to the Anarchist Society’s table and asked if I could join. They asked for my student number. I said I didn’t go to Trinity. They said I couldn’t join the Anarchists society unless i was a Trinity student.
I stood in total silence waiting for the irony to set in. It didn’t.
